Remove the Protected by reCAPTCHA badge from your website

This tutorial explains how to remove protected by reCAPTCHA badge,  in your WordPress site.

This information comes from Viktor at Divimundo, so make sure you go read the full instructions to understand the process.

If you’re using the invisible Google reCAPTCHA V3 for your contact forms, you’ll notice that Google will apply a small badge that may float on the side of your website. It might not fit in with your theme and perhaps you want it gone.

Let’s get rid of the protected by reCAPTCHA badge now.

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Go to Appearance » Customiser
  3. Click Additional CSS
  4. Add the snippet below:

Paste this code into the custom CSS.

Code:

.grecaptcha-badge {
visibility: hidden;
}

Apparently you’re allowed to hide the badge as long as you include the reCAPTCHA branding visibly near the contact form.
Do include this text in custom CSS on your contact form on the page (not in the contact form settings).

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google
    <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy">Privacy Policy</a> and
    <a href="https://policies.google.com/terms">Terms of Service</a> apply.
